Hypno-couching
What hypnosis-based work is — and what it isn’t
Hypnosis is a guided ‘state’ of focused attention and deeper relaxation that allows you to work more directly with patterns that are difficult to change through insight alone.
In this ‘state’, people often find it easier to:
⇒ calm the nervous system
⇒ explore alternative responses
⇒ soften rigid beliefs or habits
⇒ and relate differently to thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations
Hypnosis is not about losing control, being manipulated, or having anything imposed on you. It is about regaining control over your own life.
The process relies on your own inner capacities, not on an external force.
What people use hypnosis-based coaching for
Through guided hypnosis and focused work, people often experience changes such as:
⇒ reduced fear, anxiety, or phobic responses
⇒ less pull from unwanted habits or automatic reactions
⇒ improved emotional balance and mood stability
⇒ greater ease in stressful situations
⇒ improved sleep and ability to rest
⇒ a more cooperative relationship with bodily sensations, including IBS discomfort and chronic pain sensitivity
⇒ relief from inner conflict, shame, or guilt
Some clients also choose to work with experiences related to past distress, including difficult religious or life events, at a pace that feels safe and contained.
Results vary from person to person, and no specific outcome can be guaranteed.
Where change comes from
The effectiveness of hypnosis does not come from suggestion alone.
It comes from activating resources that are already present within you — attention, imagination, learning, and self-regulation.
My role is to guide the process and help create the conditions for change.
Your role is simply to participate openly and notice what emerges.
How I work:
- Typically, I see my clients four times.
- You will likely see improvement after the first session.
- Sessions are conducted weekly via Zoom for your convenience.
- We’ll set clear, achievable goals at the outset and track your progress throughout.
- We focus on present issues and future solutions, not on digging up childhood traumas.
- We don’t look for your past lives.
